Easiest Homemade Cranberry Sauce
My mom’s cranberry sauce recipe has been part of our family Thanksgiving dinner for decades. It’s always nice when the recipe that everyone wants also happens to be exceptionally easy to make. In fact, if you own a bowl, a spoon, and a microwave oven, you can make this. It can be made days ahead of time and refrigerated for the big day.
For many years of my early childhood, we had canned cranberry sauce. And then one year, my mom tried this recipe, and there was no turning back! It’s been a Thanksgiving Day staple ever since. It will be appreciated by people who think cranberry sauce is too sour, because the addition of raspberry jam sweetens it and creates a nice flavor combination.
I usually make a single batch of it, as most people only take one spoonful of cranberry sauce. One recipe will serve 8-12 people. Enjoy!
