The Love & Nurture Collection Has Launched

The winter Love & Nurture Collection is now live in the shop! This collection is all about creating memories with the ones we love through loving and nurturing them. And there are a few items that are just for you…wellness focused…because I sense that we all need a little nurturing after the busyness of the end of the year holidays.

One of my favorite items in the collection is the Natural Linen Heat Sack, each of which I’ve personally made. Think of it as your own, personal, comforting source of heat for cold winter days and nights. Simply microwave for no more than two minutes (or one minute for children) to heat the grain-filled inner sack. Then use it to warm up your bed before retiring for the night (no more cold sheets!). Use it as a foot warmer at the end of your bed. In our family, we frequently warm them in the early evening just to ward off the evening chill as we watch a movie. Truly, one of my favorite things ever! They are in very limited supply. I do not plan to restock these until next winter.

Winter mornings always seem a bit more leisurely to me…especially Saturdays. A snowy or rainy winter morning always seems like a great excuse for a pile of pancakes swimming in pure maple syrup. I’ll be sharing my recipe for the fluffiest pancakes EVER soon. And the Love & Nurture Collection has both Individual White Pitchers so everyone at the table has their own, tiny syrup pitcher, and a couple of vintage, moose pitchers for a bit of fun.

We make memories in good times and in bad. And I always hope that my loved ones remember feeling nurtured and cared for when they are sick. And since winter is often cold and flu season, I’ve included a couple of items that are nice to have on hand when sickness is in the house and someone needs a bit more nurturing. When I was a child, my mom always let me use a bed tray with some quiet amusements…but only when I was sick. And I had a little bell by my side that I could ring if I needed her. So, I’ve included both a Bed Tray/Breakfast Tray and a Sick Day Bedside Bell in the winter collection.
